ORIGAMI CAT..? YAHOO..!!!

Hello again!
Still remember the topic we did last entry?
Now, I have another interesting activity for you to try with your pupils.
It is CAT ORIGAMI...!!!!!!
Let see how it works......................

Step 1:

Start with a 15cm x15cm square origami paper color side down. Fold on one diagonal axis. Crease well and unfold. To mark the center, fold the paper over on the other diagonal axis but only crease on the center point.

Step 2:
Fold the top tip down to meet the center point. Then fold it over the center crease.

Step 3:
Fold the right and left tip to meet the bottom.

Step 4:
Fold both the right and left tips upwards to form the ears. Fold the top tip downwards.

Step 5:
Flip paper over. Fold the bottom tip upwards as indicated below. Now fold down the nose tip.

Step 6:
To make the origami cat body, start with a 15cm x15cm square origami paper color side down. Fold on one diagonal axis. Crease well and unfold.

Step 7:
Fold both sides towards the center crease.

Step 8:
Now fold the paper in half.

Step 9:
Rotate the paper. We're now going to work on our cat's tail. Make a fold where indicated below. Crease well.

Step 10:
Make another fold as indicated by the dotted line below. Crease well.

Step 11:
Unfold the paper. Using the 2 creases you made earlier, you can now bring the right tip over to the left and squash it down.

Step 12:
Now fold you tail upwards where indicated.

Step 13:
Let's complete the cat's body! Fold the tail in half by bringing the left flap over to the right. And here's your cat..

Let's watch this video for a better understanding...

Easy right..? GOOD LUCK!!
